Kaizō Kaizen is a magazine aimed at showcasing unique and exotic JDM (Japanese domestic market) vehicles, including the lifestyle and culture surrounding them.
The name is a combination of Japanese words with "kaizō" meaning 'crazy' modified car and "kaizen" meaning controlled refinement.
All photos (excluding the advertisements) are my own photography, as I'd taken photos of various cars at the ImportExpo show, in which I was able to create multiple unique and interesting layouts that provided a slick racing feel and aesthetic that resonated with the cars I had photographed from the exhibition.

Mobile App Prototype
The mobile prototype was made in Figma and uses the KZKZ brand identity by utilizing the colour palette and typefaces to maintain consistency with the magazine.
The app utilizes a design system using variables, which uses colours and number values for reference in the design, allowing for mass tweaks and changes with the ability to modify the values.
The app consists of 18 pages, with a splash screen, homepage, introductory pop-ups, article pages with bookmarking features and following my user flow of paying for a subscription by going into the account page and browsing through the plans and to a payment screen to confirmation of purchase.
